Discover the magic of yoga at The Woods and start your practice strong with our "Yoga for Newbies" program. This special 4-week series is designed to guide you on a gentle and supportive exploration of yoga, perfect for beginners who want to build a strong foundation for their practice.

In each 90-minute session, you’ll experience:

Workshop-Style Practice: A one-hour yoga practice tailored to help you build strength, flexibility, and balance at your own pace.

Reflection and Discussion: A 30-minute session for prompted journaling, guided reflection, and group discussion to deepen your understanding and connection.

What you'll learn:

Foundational yoga poses, sequences, and breathing techniques

Alignment and posture for safe and effective movement

How to use props to enhance or modify your practice

An introduction to yoga philosophy

Basics of mindfulness and body awareness

Duration: 90 minutes per session

Suitable for beginners and all fitness levels

Participants must be at least 16 years of age

No previous experience required

Bring a yoga mat + a (non-glass) water bottle

Wear comfy clothing that allows you to move freely

The room temperature will be ambient temp most of the time,

but temps will vary depending on level of activity- you may sweat in some sessions!

Leave your phone outside

Pro-rated registration is not available

Missed sessions will not be reimbursed
