Service Description

Power Yoga classes focus on the fundamental yoga poses that make up a well-rounded yoga practice. Power classes feature straightforward sequencing and “simple" movements. There is nothing fancy or advanced happening here. Each class starts with a flowing series to warm up the spine and heat up the body, followed by a series of held postures to build strength, stability, and stamina. You’ll move and breathe through each pose with a cadence that builds internal heat and raises your heart rate. Class ends with gentle stretches to improve flexibility and you will leave feeling empowered, sweaty, and wrung out. Adaptable for all ages, body types, and physical abilities, Power Yoga is appropriate for those new to yoga as well as those with plenty of yoga experience – options and modifications are always offered. This class can be vigorous as individuals flow from one pose to the next. guided by their breath and the supportive guidance of the instructor. No experience needed, but good body awareness is helpful.
